I've always heard it starting on the C (the IV chord), which is really supported in the rhythm section by Ringo outlining the Bm as the turnaround bar, but if you only had the five guitar phrases to put in order I it naturally builds that way too, no?
It took me a minute or two to realize where/how the guitar solo was starting. They hear/create it like drinking tea and having a bite of toast.
